Hang-presentations
Two new shelf-types are available: pegboards and hanging bars. Allowing you to use Retail Shelf Planner
to merchandise all sorts of hanging products.
The software offers flexibility for peg-length, spacing on the pegboard and the vertical location of the peghole in the product in a simple and efficient way.
Flexibility without making the usage complex and time consuming!
|
Position dialog
The Position dialog has been enhanced to make its use even friendlier and more efficient.
Above the schematic you'll find additional information about the selected fixture and in case you're exceeding the available space, your workflow is no longer
interrupted with a warning-message, but instead you'll get visual warnings. In addition you'll be able to hide the schematic so that more of the underlaying
planogram will be visible.
|
Optimize Facings
You can optimize the facings of all allocated products in one go, through a new option in the Analysis menu.
(Note: this feature is available in the Enterprise version only.)
Location Numbers
To support better communication of information when merchandising many small products in a planograms, it's now possible to assign a location number to each
position (done for all products at once) and use this information as a label and in reports.
|
Label background
To improve readability of labels, you can now choose between a transparent or opaque background.
|
Importing product data
We've improved the flexibility to import product data in this release. This way you can influence what data is imported and how that is done.
|
You can choose between:
- All product fields
- Product characteristics
- Performance fields only
Regarding the way Retail Shelf Planner processes the data, you can choose between:

Planograms database
For companies with large quantities of planograms and/or those who require strong integration with other business-processes and IT-systems, we now offer the
ability to use a relational database as a central repository for planograms. Small scale implementations could use Microsoft Access, larger scale implementations
could use solutions like Microsoft SQL Server.
|
Load / Save Planograms in pln-format
Exchanging your planogramming work with users of other spacemanagement tools is now possible using the "Save-As" in pln-format.
Using the "Open" from the pln-format feature, you can load a planogram made in another tool.
